The Public Library Rampura Phul was established in 1939 before independence.It is one of the earliest public libraries in Punjab & is located in the centre of the city.

The library's holdings are vast including more than thousands of books. Few renowned personalities of India viz.,Shri Gopi Chand Bhargava(1st CM of Punjab visited in 1956),Shri Saifuddin Kitchlew(visited in 1953) & few ministers in PEPSU Govt visited this library.The library subscribes to nearly 60 popular magazines & 25 most popular state & national newspapers.The library has a well furnished Air-Conditioned room having rich collection of books for reading.I salute to the founders of this library.
